I picked this bag up last week when Anthropologie was having their 30% off sale sale (yes that's 2 sales). I also ordered the yellow version thinking that I might like it more, but that was an obvious no as soon as I opened the box that it came in. It was ridiculously bright and I didn't think that it would go well with very much in my closet.
I also picked up this cardigan during Anthro's 50% off sweaters sale. I was hoping to get the white version, but of course it sold out minutes before the sale kicked in at midnight. I knew that finding it in stores wasn't an option because I haven't seen it at any of mine for weeks, so I just went ahead and ordered the black version. I like it, but one problem I have with the cardigan itself is with the lining. It poofs out at the sides and makes me look like I have huge love handles. So I constantly have to pull the sides down to flatten them out. Anyone else have this issue?
Did any of you pick anything up at the sale today? I had a pair of Bookbinder Heels in my size in my cart this morning for $25 (yes, you read that right), but I decided to pass on them because I didn't want to pay for shipping. I could have added something else to my cart to get the free shpping, but I didn't want to deal with returning it. Probably a big mistake, but I do have the Flaxen Wedges which are pretty similar, so I think I'm ok with it. Hopefully one of you gave them a good home :)
I snapped up the Gracia dress to wear for the holidays... I got to the store as soon as it opened yesterday and grabbed one! I can't believe I got it for such a huge percentage off... and I know that if I had gotten there 10 minutes later, it probably would have been gone. I also got the In Clouds blouse, which my husband finds "interesting," and the Night Shade Top (full price, but I fell in love with it, and I don't think it'll make it to sale). I love your outfit!

ReplyDeleteGreen...makes such a statement...love it! I'm banned from shopping for myself until Christmas. I've been going a little crazy lately...the deals out there have been too good to be true! I'm focused on crossing off my list of gifts for friends ;) haha!

So adorable, love the green! I snagged the Lacerta Bowed Mary Janes at the 50% off sale last night, not even on the website anymore so I was so happy!

ReplyDeleteI really wanted the OC sweater as well, but when I tried it on, something wasn't right. You hit it dead on, the love-handle issue. I ended up not getting the sweater, but it does look cute on you with the skirt. I love color green with the black sweater.

ReplyDeleteThe sale at Anthro recently has been crazy! I can believe some of the prices I've been seeing lately. But, there hasn't been anything that I've been too interested in.
ReplyDeleteI got a couple items too and am really sad that I got an email that the skirt I bought is out of stock. Sad thing is that I happen to be in a store today and they totally had it there. I could've bought it if I had known a couple hours earlier.

ReplyDeleteI haven't been in love with a lot of clothing offerings at Anthro lately, which makes me so sad because the sales have been AMAZING! I did pick up some bowls and misc gift items last weekend during the 30% off sale sale.
