Rumor has it that there will be a pretty decent sized sale at Anthropologie tomorrow (head on over to Effortless Anthropologie to get the latest sale news) followed by an extra 25% off sale beginning on Wednesday and an extra 50% off sale beginning on Friday. Now normally, all this talk of sales and percentages off at my favorite store would have me smiling and excited, but for some reason, all I feel right now is anxious and confused :/
If something I want goes on sale tomorrow, do I play it safe and buy it, try and wait one more day for the extra 25% off, or cross my fingers that I can find it in-store on Friday so that I can get the extra 50% off? There are just too many options! Honestly, the only thing that I REALLY want is the Polka Rounds Clutch, which I don't think will be included in the Black Friday sale even if it does go on sale tomorrow because it's not apparel. If it does go on sale tomorrow, I'll most likely buy it because I would kick myself for months if I missed out on it.
Other than that, all I really have my eye on is the Outlined Celandine Cardi, the Trace The Stars Blouse, the Slung Sash Tee, and the Kites and Constellations Cardigan. I'm guessing it's too early for any of those to hit sale and the Outlined Celandine Cardi just came out in black, so it has no chance of going on sale this week. Who knows. Maybe nothing I want will go on sale this week. I actually think that might be a good thing because then I won't have to worry about any of this!
Are you guys going to hit up Anthro on Black Friday? If something you want goes on sale tomorrow are you going to snatch it up or will you risk missing out on it for the chance to get it at 50% off?
I am totally getting the clutch tomorrow if it goes on sale (but the green and whited striped one). I feel like that dang clutch has been taunting us at every single Anthro event since September.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm stressing out utterly. I'll actually feel better tomorrow morning when I know what's on sale. There's the added stress that this is probably the last time I can splurge until the New Year (Quintuple whammy of Christmas and FOUR effing birthdays before Mid January).
ReplyDeleteI thought I had almost nothing on my wishlist until I actually typed it out. I love that clutch, so I'm stalking it, but I can't afford it unless it gets another markdown. I'm lucky to have an element of 'second chance' at second markdowns - if it sells out in the States, there's always a possibility it might still make it in the UK.
That clutch is adorable! It's too bad accessories won't be included in the extra markdowns, but eh, I guess we'll take what we can get, huh?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I will be 3 hours away from my closest Anthro on Friday, so if anything I'm interested goes on sale, I'm getting it on Wednesday. IF I were going to a store, my fear would be that I would get trampled on trying to make it through the doors. Man, Target is brutal enough. I can't imagine what Anthro will be like at 6am!!

I'm just going to buy everything I want tomorrow. I truly hate having to deal with Christmas shopping crowds and that's what I'm likely to have to deal with if I go to the store on Wednesday or Friday. It's just not worth a few extra dollars to me. Christmas shopping always seems to bring out the worst in people....it's like for a few weeks, people abandon normalcy and start acting like zombies in search of Christmas presents. I prefer to buy from the comfort of my home and then have the nice UPS guy drop my package off at my door :)
ReplyDeleteI guess it'll depend on what hits sale tomorrow, but I think I'll buy what I want either tomorrow or Wednesday. I too, can't stand BF shopping unless I was planning to get some awesome electronic deal. Keeping fingers crossed for some goodies!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about feeling anxious. I went to my local Anthro store and asked about Black Friday, and they asked "are you going to come?"....like I'm crazy if I do really go. But I'm definitely going to brave it and go on Friday. Are you going?

ReplyDeleteI will buy what I want tomorrow and then again on Wednesday if it's still around....and then again on Friday when I go at 6am. I'll just return whatever I have mulitples of. I can't stand the way they're doing it...I wish they would just start the 25% off tomorrow with markdowns...that would make it so much easier!
ReplyDeleteI purchased the clutch a few week back and oh how I love it. I went back when the matching bag went on sale and purchased it for my mother for Christmas. Everyone needs that clutch.

ReplyDeleteYea, I'm thinking I should just take the regular sale price or the extra 25% off. The situation kinda reminds me of those game shows where you're screaming at the TV for the contestant to take the money and then they're greedy and decide to keep going and then they end up losing everything. Don't want that to happen to me!
