Passport To Style

Last night, I met up with Rosa and Rebecca at an event called Passport to Style. The event was held in a huge tent and I believe all of the proceeds from the night went to two different charities. The tent had a runway set up in the middle of it for a fall fashion trends fashion show and then local clothing stores and restaurants had booths set up all around the tent as well. We didn't really watch much of the fashion show, but we did enjoy a few food and drink samples.

About 15-20 minutes after we arrived, it started pouring down rain outside. Water was spraying inside the tent, so they decided to pull down the walls of the tent that were rolled up before. Then there was basically a mini flood happening on one side of the tent and water started dripping down from the ceiling. We started to have visions of the Titanic sinking and of the tent falling in on us, so we booked it out of there!

Anyone wanna guess where we ended up?

Anthropologie of course! They had apple cider and mini brownies for us to snack on (at the accessories store next door) while we browsed the store. I didn't try anything on/buy anything, but I did take a few pictures of the beautifully styled mannequins around the store.

That was our last stop for the night, but the fun didn't stop there. I still had to go home and open my swag bag from the event. Here's a peek at most of what was inside:

*There was a smashed cupcake inside the pink box (I still ate it and it was still delicious) and the black tube is a lipstick.

Overall, it was a great night...I just hope the rain decides to leave us alone next time. For some reason, it likes to show up every time we get together!
