This poor, neglected skirt finally got its time to shine today. I seriously don't think I've worn it since last September/October. It's just not a very spring/summer/winter skirt and I don't wear it a lot during the fall because you can really only pair it with white and black, which are too of my least favorite colors to wear. It's the perfect Halloween skirt though, which is why it's still got a spot in my closet.
Anyone have any fun plans for tonight? I'll probably just stuff my face with what's left of the candy corn, watch Halloween: Resurrection that I taped over the weekend (it's got Busta Rhymes and Tyra Banks in it, so you know it's going to be good), and then cry myself to sleep over Kim Kardashian's divorce. I really thought this one was going to last :/ (totally kidding)
Happy Halloween!

Cute! I know what toy mean about lack of summer styling options for the skirt.
ReplyDeleteAnd I know you're kidding about KK, right? Right...?
Totally kidding! I had a bad feeling about that guy all along.
ReplyDeleteAh! I totally didn't know about Kim - I'm disappointed in my Kardashian sluething skills! I googled like crazy the second I read your post - So crazy - I haven't even finished watching the Kardashian wedding special I DVRed (FOUR hours! Really, E!, is that necessary?). It will be entertaining to finally finish it now that they're getting divorced. I honestly thought it was a strange match - all she ever said was she loves how young and playful he is....which is great if you want someone to toy around with but she's a grown up woman, she needs a MAN! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute, that skirt is perfect! Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeletewhat about pink or orange w/ that skirt? it is way too cute to keep in the closet!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween! We're watching the original "Halloween" movie right now! I miss being able to hand out candy now that we live in the country. :p
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is super cute! I would wear it all year long. In the Spring/Summer, I might even pair it with an "opposite" color such as a royal blue top. In the winter, I think it would be cute with a black turtleneck, black tights, and black knee-high boots.
Omg I love that skirt! No trick or treaters here in our apt but I have Doritos...
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable Halloween outfit -- the perfect way to showcase that skirt!
ReplyDeleteGreat skirt! Try it with cobalt blue - I bet that would totally work.

So cute I think you need to bust that skirt out more! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween and I might shed a tear for KK;)!
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt! (and thinking it would look really cute with the right sky blue top, as well!)
ReplyDeleteThis skirt is too cute to wear only once a year! I would definitely feel free to throw on a colored shirt or cardi with this also--It would be a really cute color-block look. Hope you had a fun Halloween:-)
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt! I agree with the others, it would look great with the right blue top.
