As soon as I saw this dress on Rosa last week (she has the red version) I tweeted her to see where she got it and if it was still available. I had to have it! I loved the bright colors, the polka dots, and that it looked like it would be long enough for me (most of their dresses and skirts are too short on me). Lucky for me, she had just gotten it a few days earlier, so off I went to H&M after work that same day to search for the dress.
It wasn't hard to find at all once I got to my store. It was right up front and there were plenty of them available in all three colors (it also comes in solid pink and navy with polka dots). I bought both the red and navy polka dot versions since they were only $24.95 and I've had a really hard time finding cute and inexpensive summer dresses lately. I found it to be true to size for H&M. My normal size 6 fit perfectly, while the 4 was too tight/short and the 8 was too big in the waist. It comes with adjustable straps and has an elastic band at the waist. It's very lightweight and should be the perfect dress for those hot summer days.

That's so funny....I decided to drive to the mall during my lunch break today and as I was walking by, I spotted that dress hanging on a rack and went in to inspect it quickly. It was super cute, but I didn't have enough time to try it on and I didn't even bother checking the price tag ($25 is a steal!). Maybe I'll stop by H&M tomorrow after work tomorrow....it looks cute on you!

ReplyDeleteAs for cute summer dresses, I've had so much trouble this year. I like the jersey ones for after work and hanging around but Old Navy (my old go-to for those) doesn't seem to be doing those this year. Poo! Hopefully someone will post here with a good place to look.

ReplyDeleteI thought the wedges worked really well with the dress too. My husband, on the other hand, is not a big fan of them at all. I don't think he likes that they make me as tall as him :)
