I haven't brought home much from these stores over the last few years, but every once in awhile they put something out that I just can't pass up. Here's a look at a few of my favorite things that they have out now for summer (I also added a cute find from ModCloth):
Floral Tank Dress from The Limited-$89.90
How cute does the model look in this dress? Her outfit looks so effortless yet very stylish at the same time. My only concern is with the tiered skirt on the dress. They usually make my hips look bigger than they are, but maybe this one will be the exception.
Pink Dot Dress from The Limited-$89.90
I love the bright pink color of this dress for summer! I just hope the fitted waist hits me at the right spot and that the strapless top stays up where it belongs.
Ponte Petals 2-in-1 Dress from The Limited-$108.00
I love the pleated skirt on this dress and the fact that it looks like it's made up of two separate pieces. The beige/black color combo might look a little drab against my fair skin, but I think it will look great if you have a tan.
Sweetheart Dot Strapless Dress from The Limited-$89.90
I don't know if I necessarily love this dress on its own, but I think it looks great when its paired with the right accessories. The colors of the polka dots aren't my favorite for summer, but I do think the white base helps make the dress look a little more summer-y.
Tie Dye Knit Dress with Ruffle from LOFT-$49.50
I don't usually gravitate towards this color or this style of dress, but for some reason I love this one. I think it would be really cute in the summer paired with a brown belt, simple brown sandals, and a few colorful accessories (maybe a big turquoise ring and some bangles).
This skirt reminds me a lot of Anthro's Circle the Globe Skirt/Field Skirt/Thousand Days Skirt/Great Escape Skirt (I think that's all of them). The last thing I need in my closet is another solid colored A-line skirt, but you might want to check it out if you missed out on Anthro's versions.
Crepes on the Cape Skirt from Modcloth-$34.99
Ok, so I know I just said that I don't need to add anymore solid colored skirts to my wardrobe, but how cute is this little pink skirt? I think it would look great paired with a simple white tee and turquoise accessories (can you tell that I'm obsessed with that color right now?). Unfortunately, the only size left online is large, so I'll have to wait and see if they eventually get the other sizes back in stock.
I have that skirt from LOFT - I bought it over the weekend when it was $25 after driving to three stores to find the red-orange color. I wore it yesterday for the first time (I'm going to be blogging the outfit later) - I love it!

Those skirts from Loft also come in darling prints for summer - I confess that I already have 3 in my closet :)
ReplyDeleteI just bought the pink polka dot dress from The Limited for my rehearsal dinner in July. It is not only cute and colorful but it fit me like a glove!
ReplyDeleteCute finds! A word of warning, though: In need of a new white skirt, I picked up Loft's Pintuck Hem Cotton Voile Skirt last week and wore it out once. HATE it. Going back immediately. The skirt twists all around, and the lining is forever riding up my legs. I see some other people have posted and here and like it -- I am boggled, but also jealous! Hope it keeps wearing well for you ladies!
