Happy first day of February and first day of remixing! I'm so excited that February is finally here because it's my favorite month of the year (hey that rhymed!) :) Why you ask? Well there's Valentine's Day, which is always a good excuse to get dressed up and go out to dinner with the hubby. There's also President's Day, which means no work (woo hoo!). It's also the month that my husband asked me to marry him a few short years ago (brings a smile to my face every time I think about it). And most importantly, it's my birthday month!
Speaking of my birthday...I got my online birthday discount from Anthropologie today. Good right? Wrong! I realized that I still have to pay for shipping when I use the online discount, so basically, I'm still paying full price. Not cool. I'm going to try and take a print out of the email to my store and see if they'll honor it, but if they don't, it looks like no birthday haul for me this year :/
I told you all a few days ago that I was on the hunt for a light pink cardigan and as you can see from my outfit pictures today, I finally found one! It's not this one that I originally went looking for (they didn't have that one), but it's very similar and I actually think I like it more because it has less embellishments. The best part? I got it for $6! Deal of the day huh?

It's nearly identical to the one I'm wearing here, but the polka dots on this one have lines going across them. Hope that helps some of you who emailed me in the past asking where you could find one like mine :)

Horray for February! You sure do have a lot of great reasons to love this month. I never would have thought to pair light pink with dark grey & blue, but it looks amazing!! And I love how the pink cardi makes the pink on your Budding T-Straps pop!

ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate Valentines Day but I like February because there are less days than all the other months plus January is normally quite long, dull and cold so it's nice to get it over and done with.
