Top 10 Favorite Anthropologie Purchases of 2010

It's no secret that I bought a lot of things at Anthropologie in 2010, so I thought it would be fun to go through them all and pick out my 10 favorite items. You know, the ones I would cry over for weeks, maybe even months if anything ever happened to them (don't judge!)? Keep reading to find out what made my list :)

*These are in no particular order

1) Cropped Patterns Dress

I honestly don't think this dress would have made my top 10 list if it weren't for the 30 for 30 challenge. I wore it probably 5 or less times total before the challenge and often regretted paying as much as I did for it ($100), but since the challenge ended, I've grown a new appreciation for it and couldn't imagine it not having a spot in my closet :)

2) Beda Dress

I'm still trying to find a way to transition this dress into the winter season, but come spring/summer, you won't be able to get it off of me! I love it because it fits me perfectly and I truly feel beautiful in it every time I put it on :)

3) Reed Shirtdress

The blue plaid version of this dress quickly made its way into my closet this year not only because it's cute, but because it's a great "throw on and go" dress. I just throw it on, add a belt and shoes, and I'm ready for work or play!

4) Southward Stop Shirtdress

I'm not gonna lie, the first time I saw this dress I thought "Birds? Deer? What's all the hype?" I quickly learned that it's a great neutral that can be paired with an endless number of different colored cardigans/tights/shoes. This is one full price purchase I definitely don't regret making!

5) Peppered and Striped Skirt

I've only worn this skirt a few times since I just got it, but how could something with mustard colored polka dots not make it on my favorites list?

6) Mullany Dress

This dress almost didn't even make it into my closet because I was afraid that it washed me out, but luckily, a few of you convinced to give it another chance and I ended up finding a way to make it work for my skin tone. I love the feminine flair that it has and again Anthro gets me with the polka dots!

7) Blooming Lattice Cardigan

I'm sure that any of you who are regular followers of my blog could have guessed that this one would be on my list :) I could seriously wear this every day of the month and not get sick of it. I just wish I would have gotten it in the green motif when I had the chance!

8) Thousand Days/Circle the Globe/Great Escape Skirt

I own 5 of these skirts, so they better be on my favorites list right? The great thing about them is that they are affordable, simple, have a great shape, and go with lots of different tops in my closet. They're my go to skirts on days when I wake up and think "I have nothing to wear!"

9) Snakebite Belt

I bought this belt in all 3 colors and probably wear 2/3 colors on average at least twice a week. Definitely got my money's worth!

10) Breezy Polkas Cardigan

Bow...check, polka dots...check, red (one of my favorite colors)...check, thin/delicate shoulders that could tear at any minute...wah woh. Lucky for this cardigan 3/4 is good enough to make it onto my list :)

  3. Like Louise I think I managed to guess a few of these before the page even loaded! It's funny how similar yet different this list is from mine. I'm so pleased you got the Mullany Dress, it's so you now.
I think I might have to nick this idea!
By the way, keep styling that P&S Skirt as mine is winging its way to me and I need more ideas for how to wear it!

  4. I think I have like half of the items on your list. I recently saw a Today's show special where Giada De Larentaus was wearing the cord shirt dress and the highest button she had buttoned was the one above her belly button. Haha...I just had to laugh and share that!

  7. Great list!
I only own two of your top 10 (crop patterns dress and snakebite belts) but I liked the rest of your choices! There's too many choices to pick from for a year of anthropologie, so i commend you for choosing just 10!

Did you end up getting anything from the Tag sale this week?
