Date Night

The husband and I decided to do date night early this week, so last night, we headed out to a local restaurant for cheap wings Wednesday. We were having a great time until I went to take a bite out of my first wing and it somehow ended up all over my clean white shirt (I'm glad it was a $5 Old Navy tee and not a $100 Anthro dress)! Luckily, I had a napkin on my lap or it would have ended up all over my skirt too. All my husband could do was laugh because I am such a clean freak who never spills anything and he's the one who spills something on himself at least once every time we go out to eat. Not this time though...he left squeaky clean and I left looking like a messy five year old. Maybe I should wear a bib the next time we go for wings?

Here are the before pictures:

Top: Old Navy
Skirt: Anthropologie Lane Change Skirt
Belt: Anthropologie Looping Lanes Belt
Shoes: Seychelles Trip the Light Fantastic Heels

No after pictures because I immediately came home and put my shirt in the wash. To my surprise, the stain actually came out completely (yay!).

I hope you all have a good Friday and a great start to your weekend!

  1. I'm glad your shirt came clean. I'm a total klutz! My boyfriend always laughs at me because I drop EVERYTHING...keys, phone, food, you name it. Luckily I haven't ruined any Antro items {yet}!

  2. LOL! I'm such a klutz too! I love that skirt with a simple white tee. And you look really pretty with your hair up like that.

  3. lol. Sounds like those wings were extra delicious! ;) I'm glad you didn't get any on your cute skirt though! I would have been sad too if I'd done that.

  4. Kelly-That sounds like my husband. He misplaces everything! One time, he accidentally put a box of crackers in the fridge!

Jessica-Thanks! It's so much easier in the morning to throw my hair up like this. I used to spend 15 minutes straightening it only to have it be frizz city by the time I got to work (in the summer).

Lori-I guess I was probably a little too excited about wing night! Knowing my luck, the stain probably wouldn't have come out of the skirt.
