Good thing I already got mine!
Watching this episode took me back to the days of Carson Daly and TRL (remember those days?). I remember rushing home after school, turning on MTV, and anxiously waiting to see if *NSYNC, Britney Spears, or the Backstreet Boys would be number one. My friends and I actually learned the dances to Sometimes and Crazy (Britney songs)...what nerds!
My outfit today features one of my favorite Anthro pieces, the Parted Petals Cardigan. It's one of the most unique Anthro items that I own and it was also a birthday present from me to me :)
Cardigan: Anthropologie Parted Petals Cardigan
Tank: Anthropologie Winding Road Tank
Skirt: Anthropologie Alena Skirt
Shoes: Steve Madden
Oh and thanks to Kathleen from Princess of Taylor, I found out that I have readers in Turkey, Brazil, South Korea, France, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. I had no idea that people from that many different places read my blog! Hi to everyone!
Have a good night!

I'm on the west coast in California, so I haven't seen it yet, but I am super excited for Glee in 30 minutes! We must be around the same age because I loved TRL and was so in love with 'N Sync, BSB and Britney. That's when MTV was actually cool and played music videos! I also learned the Sometimes and (You Drive Me) Crazy dances!
ReplyDeleteOh and I really love your outfit! You are so adorable! :) It looks so feminine, soft and comfortable!
We were twins today! I wore the same cardi--- I love mine too! My husband told me to settle down when I screamed that Emma was wearing an Anthro cardigan tonight. It sort of makes me want to buy it now!
ReplyDeleteVery cute combo of cardi and skirt!
ReplyDeleteHello
ReplyDeleteI'm from Australia, so we are a little behind in the US entertainment sakes.
Your cute outfit is so perfectly matched. I love the hint of yellow against the navy blue. very nice. The brick wall as a backdrop is a great way of showcasing your outfit, i might try that next time!
Cheers

Quick question, my sister wanted to know what the cardigan is called above that you have posted that is in Glee. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteomg, PERFECT outfit yet again. You are so stinking cute, Sara!
ReplyDeleteaww. yah I still feel sad about missing the precious metals cardi. I just was too worried about taking care of it properly!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit I am kicking myself all over again for not getting that cardi!
ReplyDeleteSara, you look perfect! I love that sweater with the navy Alena! Oh, now I wish I had it, hahahaha (the skirt - already have the sweater). Super super cute! I DVRed Glee and will probably try to watch it tomorrow night. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great outfit! I love the skirt and sweater together, especially with the peeking yellow top underneath!
ReplyDeleteElizabeth-I'm glad I'm not the only nerd! I always hated how they never played the whole music video on TRL and it was always my favorite part that got cut out!
ReplyDeleteMelissa-When I saw the cardi pop up on the screen I screamed "Hey!" and my husband jumped up and said, "What's wrong!" :)
Elizabeth-It's the Precious Materials Cardigan :)
Carol-Definitely watch Glee. It was a good one!
Hello from the UK Sara
ReplyDeleteGlee isn't on here until 2011, boo
I might try to watch it online if I can't wait until then!
I love everything about this outfit -- the cardi, the colors, and the drape on the skirt. You look absolutely stunning! And aren't bday presents to yourself the best?!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! I am totally going to recreate this with my pink alena skirt and grey winding road tank if you dont mind :)
ReplyDeleteSara - I did the same thing! When it came up, I yelled "HEY!!!" ... and i was proud - my husband said "huh? do you have that sweater or something?" I said, "uh YES - I wore it last week.... REMEMBER?!" Sigh!
ReplyDeleteYou look SO cute in the parted petals. I got it, and ended up returning it... and how I wish i hadn't!! :-(
I love this cardi - so cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd I have readers from the craziest places too! So much fun to check (and so dangerously obsessive as well! LOL)
I LOVED the Glee episode last night. It was so great. I remember watching the first season of So You Think You Can Dance and that girl that plays Brittany S. Pierce made it to the finals before they pick the top 20. She didn't get picked though but I bet she's glad she got this opportunity. I wish they showcase her dancing more and I also love the other cheerleader's voice. I love GLEE!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! That cardi is super cute on you, and looks great with the Alena skirt!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading from Belgium! (but normally from LA, just here for a few months)
ReplyDeleteLast night's Glee episode was SO good! I was excited when I saw Emma wearing that Anthro cardi too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI really like your outfit also. So cute!
Louise-Definitely watch it online!
ReplyDeleteJessica-Don't mind at all :) Can't wait to see it!
Ellen-My husband is the same way. If I show him things on other people/in the store that I have he acts like he's never seen it before!
Cindi-I had no clue she was on that show. I can't believe she didn't make it to the top 20. She was amazing!
Sophie-Thanks for saying hi! I love hearing where you guys are reading from!
Debbie-I liked the episode so much that I think I'm going to watch it again (I DVR'd it)!
ReplyDeleteI squealed when I saw Emma in that sweater. My (soon to be) MIL didn't understand why and it took way too long to explain, lol. I like your expression in the 3rd picture down.
ReplyDeleteI just started a blog and I hope you'll stop by!

I really like the pop of yellow peeking out beneath your sweater. That sweater just looks happy. Loved the cardi on Emma too...makes me regret returning it a little more!
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit and style! Makes me wish I hadn't passed over the sweater and skirt.
