I was in shock when this dress went on sale last week because it seems like my store just got it in about a month ago. I took it up to the register to buy it after I first tried it on, but something inside me told me to wait. I went back to my store about a week later and tried it on again and the SA almost convinced to buy it. She did her usual "Oh you look great" and "This dress was made for you" lines, but again, I decided to wait. I'm so glad I did because here I am a few weeks later with a cute dress and an extra $60 in my pocket :)
Dress: Anthropologie Tiny Windows Dress
Belt: Anthropologie Looping Lanes Belt
Shoes: Anthropologie Side By Side Flats
Necklace: Anthropologie Pessinus Garden Necklace
I also wanted to let you all know that I won't be posting as much for the rest of July (I'll still have some posts, just not as many). I'm heading back to the midwest this weekend to do a few last minute things for our wedding, then we'll be getting married on the 18th, then we're spending some time in the midwest with our families, and then we'll be on our honeymoon :) So if you don't see as many posts, that's why, but I promise I'll be back in August with lots of wedding pictures!

So exciting, I can't believe you're getting married so soon!
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks so nice on you. I came soooo close to buying it, but I couldn't think of any other way to wear it, other than on it's own.
Luckily, there was nothing I really wanted that went on sale today, which is good because I'm still trying to track down the Deeply Rooted Tee!
Love this dress on you! Isn't it just so much sweeter when gotten on sale? :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your upcoming wedding! I hope we'll get to see a picture or two when you come back!
it is a cute dress on you! Cute dresses on sale are a huge plus though. :)
ReplyDeleteHave fun on all the upcoming stuff! I love the Tiny Windows Dress on you, so cute!
ReplyDeleteSara, that dress looks so cute on you! Definitely looks better on you than on me. We'll miss you but OMG you must be so stressed with last minute planning. I can totally understand! :) Have a wonderful wedding and I can't wait to see pics!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your wedding! Where are you going for your honeymoon?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you went with that color in salmon instead of the lavender...I remember you saying you were considering the lavender, but I think the salmon looks better on brunettes and the lavender looks good on blondes.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your wedding! So exciting!
Which dress did you decide to wear to your wedding rehearsal btw? Did I miss you posting your decision? (I voted for the vagabond) :)
You look great in that dress - wonderful GET and good job on the waiting.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you on your upcoming nuptials! Remember to let every moment sink it and enjoy it.
I was pretty good this past sale and only going two things - the Habami/Habini/Hibatchi/whatever jacket and the Nueva Granada necklace.
Have a wonderful, stress-free time getting ready for your big day! Enjoy your time with your families. You will be missed but it will be fun getting to see some of your wedding pictures when you come back. Have a happy wedding day and honeymoon and congratulations to you and the fiance! Oh, and as always, you look cute in the coral Tiny Windows Dress.
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of that dress and belt! It looks great! Have an amazing wedding and honeymoon and I can't wait to see pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou look so great in that dress! Have a wonderful wedding and enjoy every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to see a picture of your wedding dress. Oh, and your OOTD is adorable. Have you decided on what you are going to wear for the rehersal dinner?
ReplyDeleteHooray for your upcoming wedding! I hope all the last minute details fall right into place and you have a beautiful day! Love the Tiny Windows on you, the color you decided on looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI just wore mine tiny windows dress on Sunday and I love it too! That color looks great on you. Good luck with all of the wedding details, I know it can be stressful at times. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on upcomin wedding again. U'll b a gorgeous bride.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress on u, I got the lavender version though...=))
That dress, especially the color, look so pretty on you! Congrats on your upcoming wedding. That's so exciting!
ReplyDeleteYou look so so cute in that dress! I love the colour on you :)
ReplyDeleteI was so happy that the Tiny Windows Dress went on sale last week!!! I always liked it, but was so unsure if I wanted to spend $118 on it, but then it went on sale, and I snatched it up! You look adorable in it. I'm so glad you went with the coral--it looks great with your dark hair.
ReplyDeleteI sat this sale out...there were lots of things I liked that went on sale, but nothing that I LOVED (or didn't already own). My wallet is happy!
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!
British Anthropologiest-I'll keep a look out for your tee :)
ReplyDeleteErin-You'll definitely see a picture or two...or 20!
Cindi-I'm a little stressed, but I know my stress level will go up 100% when I get back to the midwest and realize I only have a week left to finish planning!
Tien-Mexico!
Kelly-You haven't missed the rehearsal dress decision...it's just me being indecisive again. I'm going to try the dresses on this weekend for my mom to see what she thinks and then make the final decision. The Vagabond Dress is still in the running :)
Spiffy-I actually live on the east coast now and my family is back in the midwest (not Chicago). I think I only own one pink tank top and then another salmon colored top from LOFT that has ruffles down the front. The color of this dress definitely pops more than those do though.
Jessica-No decision yet, but I'm going to try on the dress contenders with my mom this weekend and will hopefully have a decision made!
First off, you look GORGEOUS in the Tiny Windows! The color is beautiful on you and you look just perfect! =)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your upcoming wedding! I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day! And I look forward to seeing the pics when all is said and done!
The dress looks great on you. Congrats on the upcoming wedding. My first thought was "I wonder if she has Anthro bridesmaid dresses?" : ) I'll miss your blog posts while you're gone.
ReplyDeleteSara - I will miss your posts but you have so many exciting things coming up!! And seriously - the dress WAS MADE for you! I think it's one of my very favorite posts you have done!!
ReplyDeleteSara, you look so pretty in your Tiny Windows dress! I'm so glad you held out and were able to get it on sale. =D
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks amazing on you! I wore my tiny windows dress today too. I like this dress so much that I'm thinking I want to get the pink version as well. Congratulations on getting married soon. Can't wait to see all the pictures.

Hi Sara! I recently started following your blog and love it!
ReplyDeleteI stopped into Anthro on Monday and saw this dress, but it looks even cuter on you than it did on the rack. The pink definitely works on you. During my trip, I picked up the Lemon Chiffon blouse by FEI, on sale for $39, and wore it for yesterday's OOTD. Feel free to check it out: http://www.thriftythreadsnyc.blogspot.com/
Best wishes on your upcoming wedding.
ReplyDeleteCute dress Sara! Best wishes for your wedding, have a wonderful day. I am relatively new to your blog and I love it. Good luck on your wedding day, look forward to seeing what fantastic dress you wear : )
