Hi readers! As I mentioned yesterday, Ashley over at
Ashley Getting Dressed is doing Disney princess inspired outfits all week long and she invited her readers to play along with her. I switched things up yesterday and did a villian inspired OOTD but today, I decided to use one of my favorite Disney princesses, Ariel, as my inspiration because I wasn't feeling very "villianish". Not only does Ariel have beautiful long red hair, but she also looks great in her purple shell top/fin and in her human clothes. I really wanted to pair my own purple shell top with the Landing Field Skirt, but it's lost somewhere in my closet, so I had to settle for this tank :)

Tank: Old Navy
Skirt: Anthropologie Landing Field Skirt
Shoes: Target
Necklace: Jcrew
Belt: Anthropologie Looping Lanes Belt
There are also a few more giveaways going on that I forgot to mention yesterday:
Kim over at Anthroholic is giving away the cutest dress from Shabby Apple. Check it out
here.
Shannon at Wardrobe Review is also giving away a beautiful mint colored bubble necklace. Enter her giveaway
here.
I'll be back tomorrow with another Disney princess inspired OOTD. Ciao!

ReplyDeleteThis is SO cute! I would have never put this together. I love it!
ReplyDeletecute! My post for tomorrow is Ariel! I'm super jealous of Ariel's hair...so lush! I guess all Disney Princesses have awesome hair...like Victoria's Secret models or something!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THIS OUTFIT! It's a super amazing Ariel outfit! Great job. I love Ashley's blog, too. I'm a new follower and she's SO STYLISH. Loving it every day. As I've said before, I have those shoes and I have comfort issues with them, but aren't they so versatile? I'm in awe of the amount of things they go with. So for that, Target, I'll give you props. Let's just work on the sideways, awkward, feet wiggling around with toes all off the sole thing. :)

ReplyDeleteSadie's Momma-I really bashed these shoes the first time I wore them, but now that they've gotten some wear, I love them! My feet still wiggle around, but at least they aren't in pain like they were the first day I wore them!

Kathleen-You did a great job with your princess inspired outfit today! In fact, I think you might have inspired my princes outfit for tomorrow, but we'll see if I can pull it off!
