This week, I've felt a lot more tired in the morning than I usually do. I think it probably has something to do with the time change. Because of this, I haven't been posting all of my outfits from the week. I've just been too tired in the morning to put an outfit together that I like and I'm usually not ready before my fiance leaves for work (he takes my pics). So last night, I made sure to pick out what I wanted to wear today so that I wasn't scrambling to throw things together at the last minute. I knew I wanted to wear my new sale top from Tuesday, but I wasn't sure what skirt I wanted to pair it with. Then I looked at my Budding T-Straps and realized that they would go perfectly with my new top and bright pink skirt. I realize that this skirt is REALLY bold and bright, but I figured it might help wake up my co-workers who also seem to be having a hard time adjusting to the time change!

Top: Anthropologie Variegated Rosette Shirt
Skirt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Anthropologie Budding T-Straps
Also, I decided to buy the
Blueberry Peplum Blouse online yesterday since it got marked down to $29.95! I can't believe the price got cut by so much and so quickly. It must not have been selling well at all. I actually really liked the colors and the fit of the top. As you can see though, the neckline is definitely asymmetrical, but I'll see if I can make it work.

Only one more day till the weekend!
What size did you get in the peplum blouse? We look about the same size.
ReplyDeleteTaryn-I got it in a size 6. I never tried on the 4 and I remember people saying it ran small, so I'm hoping it works! I'm hoping the 4 will still be available online for me to get if I think it's too big.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It looks great on you :)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE that skirt! It looks so great with the rosette shirt and the budding t-straps.
ReplyDeleteDaylight savings time has also been killing me this week-- I'm so glad it's almost the weekend and I can catch up on some sleep!
Taryn-Thanks! Hope it works for you!
ReplyDeleteRebekah-Thanks! I love a good flowy skirt. I'm glad I'm not the only one affected by DST. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow! Enjoy your weekend!
I broke down and also got the Peplum blouse. I actually got to try it on in the store. I am usually a size 2 or XS in tops. In this one I got the size 4, and the fit was perfect. I think Tracy Reese runs small. I didn't find it particulary short either, but I had a skirt one. We'll try it on with my skinny jeans and see how it works.
ReplyDeleteI just got my Blueberry Peplum Blouse in the mail today and I just ordered it on Wednesday! That was quick! I haven't tried it on yet, but I'll let you know about the fit as soon as I do.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that Anthro has been much faster on shipping and it has taken that long for items to get to me.
ReplyDeleteLove the first outfit above with the pink skirt. Definitely cheerful & springy. You have a cute, unique and feminine style, Sara. You are simple but a little bohemian with a love for colors, patterns, scalloping & floral. I loooooove those shoes and would steal them in a heartbeat, except I am a size 6.5-7 in shoes.
